With his considerable skills.

Tonight the menu consists of a big helping of Jack and Ginger with a side of Tater Salad. Well, the Jack will be smaller than desired but hey, I still get the full sized side of Tater. Damn class projects being due. If not for working with my group all day tomorrow, the Jack thing wouldn't be a problem tonight. Tomorrow night could also pose as a good evening with a wedding aprty consisting of a bunch of soon to be college graduate females attending. With my track record, standing in the corner not talking will probably win out as mature members attending the party would not be so appreciative of my other type of attendance traditions when alcohol is present. Good thing Poot will be there to keep me straightened out both nights.

And?

As you can tell, I am supposed to be completeing work for that previously mentioned MBA. I don't have the feeling but I got dangerous with the programing feature (reading tutorials helps) on here. If you want included on the supported Blog list, let me know. I can fire away anytime now. Just don't be stupid and leave me a link to it. Let me know what you think. I may be playing with some template options in the near future, keep me posted on your preferences.

Addenda 1: There will be little changing of the full template as I have to retype the links each time unless I think to do the copy thing on taht section in advance, which we know I won't. I want the feedback anyway. If I make the change in the next few days, I may remember.

The dawn of a freightening time

Well this is how things stand. We have a bakers dozen on the shelf now, with number 14 waiting an evening of 2 drinks before it makes the journey upwards. That's all that will get finished in this location though. See, much as changed in the past month. I have grown up happy with my job and am giving it through the end of '05 to get better, otherwise I am searching for new employment. At this point I will be within 3 classes of an MBA and, should things not turn upwards, give me the spring to find something better. Should the finding something better not occur immediately I will be down to one class remaining, an elective I could take at pretty much any school with an MBA as I plan to finish all core and concentration requriements by the end of spring '06. Nothing is feasible sooner because of the whole concentration thing, though all cores could be done by Dec. This plays in with the fact that I gave up on the home purcahsing thing. Too many variables that had red flags including assessmnet issues becasue the association issues are too low and they can't seem to raise them or manage their cash flow, a history of foundation issues in one of the construction phases in this property, boat dock ownership between association and third party in litigation, and other units sitting on the market for yr+ without any appreciation from origianl time of purchase. I figure it's best to say the hell with the interest rates and wait it out. That and everything in a price range I was willing to pay either needed too much work or was not desireable to my desires. New construction is great but they are bitches here with their lease breaking poilcy and timing is curcial and I don't have it. Too many things have the possibility of changing in the next 12 months. With all this being said, Skippy needs immediate assistance in his living arrangements. Poot and I are happy with our complex in general and they have a three bedroom available for immediate move in. Bill and rent will go down again. So the way it looks now is Poot and I , with hopefully the assistance of Skippy as the immediate move instead of mid summer is being facilitated by his needs, will pay the in complex transfer fee and we will be in a new unit come this time next week. This brings together two of the four JDGA founding fathers and another member, in one living space. JDGA weekends can now happen at a moments notice. Also, the 14 children will be taking up residence in their own location while a new batch of children are raised on the other cabinet end. I guess we will have one cluster *&#$ of a place to stay for the bachelor party in a month. It could be interesting. With our powers combined...

A Crossroads in Opinion

I read an interesting article on MSN yesterday about birthrates and trends. It seems people are having fewer kids and waiting later in life to have them. I believe the average agee for women to have their first child is up to 25 from 21 in the 60's or 70's. Men are wiating until around 30, up from their mid 20's. Teen pregnancy has plummetted. Yay America! We are geting our lives in order and gaining some sense of responsibilty with Gen-X getting some maturity about them. The problem is this. We have lots of old people and they are getting odler and older and they have kids (our parents), then there is us, then there is a gap because we are waiting to have kids. The kicker is the tax base. At some point many of us will have parents and some grandparents both alive and retired, drawing from the govenment, meanwhile, we are waiting to have childern longer. Can you say strain on the National Budget? Does anyone else seethis as an issue in a ocuple years. Our kids won't be old enough to work at McDonalds so the govenment can pull taxes from them, and our folks will be pulling SS. I guess all I have to say is Breed young people breed. I never thought I would say this as I generally suggest that a lot of random people I run across need not do this for the betterment of society, but now I may think it a necessity. If nothing more than we will need Wal-Mart employees and garbage men later on too. Everyone can't come from a background that supports higher education be an engineer, accountant, teacher, doctor and lawyer. The numbers jsut don't let it happen that way.

Hmmmm?

If you drop it like it's hot, what do you do if it is cold? They are talking about temperature I guess? What if it was a relative expression. Wouldn't you then drop it 'cause it's cold and pick it up 'cause it's hot? These urban lyrics, man, they really provoke one's thoughts.

That'll leave a mark

Ouch. I think my liver is still recovering. I have sworn off the temptation for at least another 48 hours as the liver is the only organ that regenerates. "Mad props" go to Nobrainer for driving back Sunday. I laugh at him for sleeping pretty much from 6 on Saturday evening until who knows. He laughs at me for sleeping all the way back to Charlotte as he drove. Pretty bad of me since he had an additional 4 hours to knock out afterwards. The bastard didn't think to stop and let me fill up at the state line though. That would have been nice at a solid $.09/gallon difference. I am looking forward to the pictures. My only question is, who drank the most. Nobrainer is up there for his 18hour stint between 9 Friday and 3 Saturday. I think I am a close second for pacing through late Saturday night. I can thank the parking lot at Monterreys for that. That was pretty much cheese dip and the second 48 ouncer for those that saw it. I also want to give some more props to the girls that hung at the bars Friday night. The Wha/Nobrainer tag team had to be rough and they seemed to deal well. Any more stories about the stuff some of us didn't realize happend? The closest I came to passing out was Sat night, fully clothed on top of my bed. Maybe I am moving up in the world.

Oh Wow

So we are under 5 days and counting for JDGA Spring '05. The tee times are made, the handles are purchased, and very few in the sleepy town of Clemson have been warned in advance. Poor kids don't even know what's coming. Well, if the weather holds, the golf course is dry and the baseball teamns show up with everyone else, I am pretty sure it's on. Spring in Clemson is such a beautiful thing.
