Wedding Weather Forecast

THURSDAY
Highs are projected to be in the mid 80's for the wedding party arrival on Thursday afternoon. Thursday's low for those tying Brad to the pier will be 65 with a slight breeze off the water. Don't expect to notice.

FRIDAY
Friday's free-for-all activities will be conducted under partly cloudy skies with temperatures in the low 80's. Expect this to be the temperature when you finally make an exit from your rooms during/post hangover. Chance of rain 20%, but don't be shocked if a thunderstorm is brewing just in time for the downtown excursion for those attending the Rehearsal Dinner. For those who will be partaking in the beach or other outdoor activities Friday afternoon, remember to bring your extra strength sun screen. 30 is highly recommended for those of you with lighter complexions. UV indexes will be 8 and above. Wedding pictures are much more flattering when you are not red as a beat. Don't be 50 and look back at the pictures with a grimace when you are visiting Brad and Lauren in the distant future. The low will be a balmy 65 but expect temperatures in the mid to low 70's with a breeze for the conclusion of the dinner and any activities for the less faint of heart as we will already be downtown.

SATURDAY
Saturday looks to be a repeat of Friday. Expect temperatures around 70 for your morning tee times. Remember that the sun is at its most potent midday so anyone golfing or involved in outdoor activities prior to the wedding, needs to remember our comments about sunscreen on Friday. Expect temperatures to again be around 82 for the wedding. Those in tuxes for an extended period of time may want to bring extra deodorant and a wet nap for the post picture/pre ceremony break in action. Lows again look to be in mid 60's, with temperatures hovering around 70 for any crazy folks who still want to go downtown, post reception. Again, don't be shocked if a thunderstorm pops up. If it does, this could be a bad sign for other reasons.

SUNDAY
Get out of town and let them head off on their honeymoon, you bums. Their parents have seen enough of you anyway. Expect temperatures somewhere in the 70's as you leave, depending on how crazy you were the night before. Get out soon, afternoon thunderstorms are imminent.

This weekend's weather forecast was brought to you in part by Meteorologist in Training (Wha), Weather.com, and the "I'm bored at work and can't wait to leave for Charleston Association."

Good Day!

I sent the above out to everyone I knew was going that was alreayd on a list. I really think that if there is a business where they let me plan social events and forecast the weather, I am missing my true calling.
